Oil tank location?

For all oil experts, what is the minimum OFTEC distance an oil tank can be located alongside the house, the wall it would be located adjacent is an outside wall with no windows with no eaves above, if this is classed as a 'non-combustible' wall could it go upto 300mm away?

If the wall has 30min fire resistance (i.e. standard cavity wall) the tank can go as close as you like, BUT if you have a steel tank you will need to get behind it to paint it, if it is a plastic tank about 100mm gap should be left so that the tank can "flex" especially whilst being filled.
The tank should be no close than 1-80 Mtrs of any opening (window/Door or Boiler flue Terminal)
