ok, i'm fed up of looking for which new boiler

fed up looking for a new boiler, they mostly seem rubbish, looking at all the threads, PCB boards seem to be to blame a lot of the time. I may for now stick with my 40+ yr old Gloworm Spacesaver 38 MK1 which does work but will obviously fail one day. can u still get any spares for this one?

We've told you. Intergas are as close as you'll get to the old Staples like your glowworm.

I serviced one this afternoon I fitted 11 years ago and another 12 years ago.

None have needed spares.

Both running on ancient old systems held together by their own sludge ... I was afraid to powerflush them and at the time did the warranty work for the boilers anyway.

14 years in total this year I've been installing them and for very good reason.

I managed to dodge changing a PEX on one today.

Feel sorry for the poor fecker doing it tomorrow
