ok need everyone's help as very dim

just got a quote off national double glazing(beginning with E) company for 2 timber framed double glazed sash windows(113cm w x173cm h) and it was roughly £5500. i know they are taking the piddle.i havn't got a clue anybody give me some sort of things that i need to look out for, glass type ,etc.and also they quoted me £1100 for secondary glazing anyone got any thoughts on that?

you need to look out for a couple of decent small local companies who can give you some decent quotes. Why would you want to use someone who is obviously taking the mick?
