Okay to put underfloor heating beneath kitchen appliances?

I am having underfloor heating installed throughout my property. The fitter has asked if would like the heating under the new wood floor which extends beneath the kitchen units and appliances.

As the flat gets bitterly cold in winter, I don't want to allow any cold air to enter the flat anywhere. If there are issues with heat rising through the floor to let's say the fridge, I thought this could be solved but putting an insulation board between the fridge and the wood floor.

Is it okay to have underfloor heating under kitchen appliances and are insulation boards a solution to preventing the heat from affecting the appliances?

When we had underfloor heating put in the concrete screed, we deliberately avoided the kitchen unit area directly underneath

a) we did not want to heat the wooden units and cause unecessary stress on the wood
b) Did not want the contents of the cupboards to be heated unnecessarily; this spoils food even if it is dry or tinned food will degrade quicker
c) Stress to fridge as you mention

Using insulation to counteract ; I cannot comment on that
