Hi
We're replacing an old gas hob / gas oven cooker with a new gas hob / electric oven cooker.
The consumer unit circuit to the red switch on the wall next to the cooker is 32amp but rather than the cooker being wired directly into here there is a short spur down behind the floor cupboards which terminates as a wall plug socket and the old cooker is plugged into this.
Will the installer be OK with this set-up or do you think I will need to get an electrician to change the current set-up before install? (The installers are from the cooker supplier so won't do any additional work aside from disconnecting / connecting the cookers).
Thanks in advance for any advice.
Cheers
Richard
