Hi all,

probbly a very silly question but we have a very old glow worm space saver 30 mkII boiler and have always wondered what kind of boiler we have and how the system works.

We have 2 switches 1 for central heating and 1 for water. We also have a immersion heater with a seperate switch and a water tank in the loft.

I know it might seem a silly questions but would anybody be kind enough to explain how the system works.

Also if we wanted to fit a mixer tap shower could we on this type of system and if so what kind would be suitable? I get lost when it comes to where the hot and cold feeds are coming from.

Thanks in advance.
