I have a Glow-Worm Fuel saver MkII 40B boiler that I'm struggling to set up as wish and I can't find a manual.
This particular boiler has two switches. One for Water heating and one for Central heating. These switches each have four positions, Off, On once, On twice and Continious.
The combination of switch positions is limited. I have attached a matrix of switch positions that I am able to select to this post.
The upshot of this is that I can't set my boiler to have the heating come on once only (in the morning) but have the hot water on twice a day.
Can anyone tell me if this is normal or do I have a faulty switch unit?

Thanks for the reply.
Can you tell me, is this a limitation of the boiler, the switch unit or both? Is it possible to change the switch/timer unit for a more advanced unit?

You can fit an external programmer but without knowing the exact details of the system it's not possible to know what programs are possible.
