Put them in a separate connector block - connected to each other and nothing else - as they are now.
Mark them before disconnecting so they don't get muddled up.

They need to be kept joined together with a terminal block or wago as EFL says.
There appears to be a slight bit of damage to the right hand one of the pair as well
