Old Lister teak bench

I have a nice old teak bench made by Lister.
After cleaning it becomes a rich brown colour (when still wet).
On drying it returns to a silver/grey colour.
What is the best product to retain the colour?
I've been advised not to use teak oil!

You need a teak colour restorer and sealer

something like this, although Ive not used it so its not a recommendation just an example of the type of product

teak oil is fine for interior teak, but it wont last long outside

Lidl and or Aldi occasionally carry wood colour restorer, it seems to work quite well and an ok price too.
