We're having to replace a section of floor and joists due to rot caused by blocked air brick + leaking window cill.
The old floorboards are pine 4" t&g and just under 1" thick 20mm exactly new 100cm boards are 19mm thick.
Should I just not worry and rely on a sander to even things out?
Or is there another method, the amount of floor to be replaced is roughly 1/3 of the room but it's all coming up to allow insulation to go under.
