Old oil tank

If an original single skinned steel oil storage tank is in good condition and not leaking etc does it need to be change until there is a problem with it? It is at a commercial premises.

Yes it does the control of pollution act 2005 states that all oil stores in excess of 200 Ltr (45Gall approx) MUST be either integrally Bunded or in a catch pit of at least 110% of the tank volume.

These regulations were made RETROSPECTIVE a couple of years later.
The easiest way to comply is to replace the tank with a Steel or plastic Integrally Bunded oil store to resist vandalism I would go with a STELL BUNDED TANK ;)
 
Cheers, I Googled the act and had a look through the copy I found only appeared to apply to Engalnd, is it different for Wales?
