Hello all,
I have read quite a few of the relevant posts and have already and have learnt a lot, but i am still not 100% sure on what to do.
So the situation is i have a wall which was tiled (only about a foot up from the bath edge though)
Above the tiles is waterproof paint (i assume waterproof as it has been soaked by the shower for years and is not peeling!)
The wall behind the plaster is breeze block.
My questions...
Do i need to "tank" the wall - or is breezeblock waterproof enough?
Is the paint being waterproof a benefit? - do i need to try to remove the paint? is there a way to test whether it is waterproof?
If the wall is painted by waterproof paint do i need to buy a special type of adhesive? (my tiles are porcelain)
Thanks in advance for your help
