I (still) have a Dell Latitude D600 runing Windows XP which I only use in the bedroom for listening to British radio in the morning and at bed time.
It was my first PC (I wasn't particularly bothered about computers before that) which my daughter bought for me so I would like to keep it and therefore keep it working.

Last week it crashed. I have rebooted it from the original disk and it is fine.

However, the common search engines seem to be too sophisticated for it now and none will work.

Has anyone any ideas to overcome this, please?

Not an expert by any means but Chrome and Firefox don't work.

I assumed the PC was too old-fashioned for the latest versions of them.

That's what I was thinking. Thanks for the suggestion.

However, I have just tried again and they are working.
Before, when searching for anything, the window just went white and clear.

I have just typed this reply on it - with Chrome.

Thanks both.

Chrome and Google that is.

Was getting my browsers and search engines mixed up.

Thanks again.
