old software that could be used for drawing plans

I don't know if anyone can remember but on one of my old computers with windows 75/78 the was a facility which enabled you to draw plans which involved squares triangle circles lines etc that could be stretched turned round thus enabling you to draw plans layouts etc. Can anyone tell me what it was and if not some similar program

You could try the Google sketch program, thats free and good for that use.
