Hi guys,

I really hope someone can help, it's snowing and freezing and the boiler packs up!

Was left with empty tank for a while whilst away, back now and filled tank with oil, set heating/hot water timer on again, boiler goes on lockouy... no heating/hot water!

Boilers recently had new wick and had fan problems in past. But when started the motor will tick over, the first fan will start, then it won't ignite and the second fan won't run then will go on lock out...

Any ideas of what it could be? Not worked on this boiler myself so hoping it something nto too complicated that i could have a go at fixing

All ideas and comments welcome

Many thanks

These are a pressurised pot vapourising burner using a float control valve.

It should not need the oil line bleeding.
Make sure the lever on the float valve is depressed

Remove the Glowplug and check it is getting hot. Also that there is oil in the burner as they carbon up.

The second fan (Air dilution fan) will not run until a flame is established.
