Old Wiring conventions new Bell - Help please

I have just attempted to replace the alarm bell in the house as the old box had a failed battery.

I have a Countess Alarm panel (circa 1990) made by Racal. The manual shows different connections to the new bell (Reson8). The panel installation manual shows

Please can someone give me some clues to how this relates to the Reson8 connections of

HOLD OFF-
HOLD OFF+
RTN-

guess ing I would say

hold off - to -
hold off + to +
r to return
trig- to s-

if that ddoesnt work swap the last two arond

dont connect the strobe, since this also indicates your alarm has gone off and no one has atended to any potential burglar
