Hi all,

I tackled the garage today and decided it's time to 'let go' of the Wylex rewireable CU I replaced. Is it worth trying to ebay the fuses?

Otherwise, the bin beckons.

If you had a few chunks of steel to weigh in, it may be worth adding it to the pile, otherwise, I'd bin it. The old-fashioned label is un petit peu d'histoire...

You might as well put it up for 99p and add extra to the postage to cover final value fees and Paypal fees and a small profit.

If it doesn't sell you've lost nothing.

The local ****** kindly took care of my ferrous scrap, so hardly worth the trip.
The original installation was to a very good standard and working (and testing!) fine after 50 years. All MK, 2" back-boxes, steel conduit, etc. A few bits survive! Just sparse on the sockets.

I might keep that little label and mount it somewhere for added historical (limited) interest.

Oh well...

Oh dear, I've been collared by the PC police. I meant to say, "light-fingered, travelling folk who frequented the turnpikes of yesteryear."

They were well liked around here.

Buckley made and exported mugs and other clay items and when they shipped them it could take a year or more before they got their money.

However the caravan crowd would pay cash without waiting. They always appeared around Jubilee time so were welcomed with open arms.
