Yup, it seems Omicron maybe the love child of Delta and HCoV-229E (one of the 4 coronaviruses that causes the common cold).

which may mean it is far more infectious but causes milder symptoms
 
Theres an outside chance it could lead to the end of the pandemic.

I think it was a German scientist who described it as a gift from God, mass infection, mild symptoms, mass immunity. But there's still mixed messages and talks of lockdowns and fewer Downing Street parties. I don't pretend to understand it all, but as you say, fingers crossed.
 
So, the common cold virus might have just saved humankind.
 
Where is the info on Omicron, stating this potential good news... so far the news is jut full of caution.

A couple of weeks ago a south African doctor said the same thing but was ignored so bojo and co could spread panic.
 
So, the common cold virus might have just saved humankind.
maybe that’s why they’re so determined to keep it out of Britain......And you were all jabbed for nothing it turned out.:LOL:
