hi ban i posted information about on-site calibration i thought you
and anyone requiring calibration for your test kit without
being without it for a week or so i must have breached some advertising rule
must read the forum rules again and give myself a good telling off

What on earth could someone have posted that was relevant to the topic and yet had to be deleted?
Unfortunately not everything that gets posted to forums is relavent to the topics it gets posted in.........................

The benefit of a "come-to-you" calibration service is...
- You do not have to get your kit posted away - risking damage or loss
- You are not without your kit for as long
- You can "keep an eye on your kit" re confidence

No experience with the company, but have had experience with bad calibration companies in the past re "repair required" and a right mess.

So "come-to-you" is attractive.

Ask at your local wholesalers.

Ours have a calibration morning every 6 months or so, where someone actually comes to the branch and will calibrate your equipment there and then.

This works well as like some other posts have mentioned, you are not left without your test kit for long, there is no risk of your expensive test kit going missing in the post, but the calibration morning will usually offer substantial discounts.

They are sat there and will do loads of test kits, so it is worth their while and they can afford to make less per tester. Kind of like bulk buying accesories (sort of)
