one for the oldies

Yes, David Karradine - and it's about time to trot out the old joke about him as Grasshopper being taught the gentle art of the five finger shuffle; after five minutes of frantic tugging and getting nowhere, he says "How much longer mastah?", to which the reply comes "Till you have eyes like mine, glasshopper"....

Used to love the suspense of waiting for the 'all to short' fight scenes in Kung Foo.

I once stumbled across a film where Mr Carradine was fighting 'Big Chuck Norris' ....... now that was a 'proper ruck' .

well done to you two, i heard on the radio today he was found dead in his hotel wardrobe with something tied round his kneck and other part of his body

His favourite Kung fu saying was "I come in peace". Maybe he changed it in latter years to "I come in wardrobes".

I bet he asked the Hotel for the 'Night Rates'. (come on Shyster tell me you 'get it')

Can y'all remember the start sequence, where he picks up the cauldron by his wrists, that has been heating on the fire and the cauldron has a couple of dragons embossed on the sides, right where his wrists meet the cauldron?

Some sizzling of flesh later he has a branding permanently embossed on his wrists.

Yes and Master Po holds the white stone out and says "When you can take the stone Grasshopper - it will be time for you to leave."
