One piece reducing sets????

Using one of these....

After it goes 'crack', how much more should I be tightening it? I'm wary of over tightening....

It's a 15mm pipe into a zone valve if it makes any difference. Can I upslacken the nut off after its on too check its on okay?

Actual advice as requested: Go and get a 3-piece reducing set.

If you are not confident in using these reducers, its worth buying an extra one and practice using a waste piece of copper, just to see how they work.

Right, off to buy a 3 piece one..... Any tips as to how to use them?!

They're the same concept as one piece, the difference being that the olive is squeezed between two pieces rather than an integral part.

Thanks for all your help, did this today and it worked first time using the 3 piece sets (amazingly!!). I'll take the other ones back to screwfix next week.

Oh that's sorted

Only tricky part was trying to work out the difference between the orange/ brown wires. They both looked so similar. I've run it from a 3amp spur.
