I remember having a job to fit a generator. It seems when a factory was abandoned except for one small unit the small unit found they had power but no meter and continued like this for years. The the owner got cold feet and thought in the end they would catch up with him and charge him for all the years where he had got free power. So he was going to move to a generator then ask the electricity board for a supply and claim he had no idea there was a supply already there.
He had not fiddled the supply as such some one maybe even the DNO had when the meters for main factory had been removed had left the one unit connected maybe it was a return tomorrow with new meter and tomorrow never came.
Clearly if the DNO knew there was a supply then a meter reader would have found no meter and reported so it could be like the guy I met some glitch in the system had resulted in some one not returning when some alterations were made?

And it certainly looks as though a meter was mounted there once from the holes and outline on the board. Nice job of the service cable and PME earthing lead running at right angles through that trunking!
Do you know if it was a prepayment one? Can't see why else someone would bother - it's not a fraud which would go unnoticed, so simply not paying would work as well - probably better.
Or do you mean he took it with him when he moved out?

Traditionally and commonly, yes, but crack cocaine is increasingly coming to be injected. Indeed, there are few psychoactive drugs which addicts have not tried to inject, regardless of what route they are 'intended' to be taken by.
