Only the highest standards

This is what £120 a day buys you. The job is a bodge, the whole roof needs to come off but that won't happen due to cost. The roof structure is built off a steel that's in the wrong position. That will be a good one to get over.

A good example why of cheap can be more expensive.

I reckon, I'd give 'em a run for their money, and I've never done any roofing whatsoever, but then again, perhaps they haven't either!

cowboys, fancy leaving some lead up on the roof.there was a least a pint in scrap there......tut tut tut.
do like the valley looks nice and clean

are the owners now eating a bit of humble then?

This job has been done on the cheap. I've been there three days and I'm being messed around about payments. There are two sides to a story, the guy who built the extension is a bricklayer, maybe he's done no roof work but was asked to as it was cheaper than getting in proper roofers. If he was messed around could be he didn't give a toss about the standards.

Though a lot of the work is bad. The steels you can see were meant to be used where the existing back wall is taken down. There should have been an IG lintol on that opening. There's so much to put right but I don't think the money will be there to put it all right.

This valley is being left as is has it's been ok'd by BC
