Only if you're getting a needle bending signal strength and listening to it on a HiFi is there really any point.
When you consider the vast majority of listeners - in the car or little portable radios it really doesn't matter. DAB brings more stations previously only available online and on AM to that end they're much better.
It's killing community and RSL radio though as getting time on DAB muxes is a right pain. (I did hear from an old colleage that one of the commercial muxes were prepared to offer free mux time to RSLs because no one would pay for it!)
