When using the central heating on the Baxi solo, all is fine.
As soon as the HW is called for the constant bubbling through the pipework especially around the cylinder is really annoying.

I am a plumber, system been running fine with inhibitor, I added an AAV replacing the old manual bleed screw, which seems to make no difference.

Suggestions would be good.

Might be the coil in the cylinder that's goosed, mate.

Another pic of the feed and expansion would help

Are the primary pipes running down hill to the cylinder ??

Where is the cold feed and vent.

The boiler is downstairs in kitchen DoItAll if thats what you mean ?.

Thanks for the help so far, especially Kevplumb lol.

I'll try upload more pics of HW draw off etc.

If the coil was gone, shouldnt my F&E overflow ?.

Cheers

Is it me, or is there a natural air lock just waiting to happen. What about the c/f & o/v configuration?

What speed is the pump on?

Why is the m/v laying on the floor?

Paul

those are older photos when i replaced the M/V 2 winters back.

The pump is on speed 3, has always been.

Im now thinking Ive been brushing my teeth, and 2 yr old son with INHIBITOR.

When you ask for pics of F&E is it pipework at cylinder or pics of the actual FE tank.?

Turn the pump down to speed 1 (albeit a temp. measure).

Balance the system (see FAQ), and try it for a week.

Without seeing the c/f & o/v it may be sucking air in.

Paul.

Ok then, hopefully reducing pump speed will still heat the house in this cold weather.

Al

any other suggestions

That draw off looks dodgy mate. I would have teed off at the wall, come off the cylinder with the horizontal run then into a tee for the expansion and the draw off.

Also you would normally run the feed into the back of the pump. Where is the feed going into the system?
