I had an open fireplace but got it boarded up in order to put an electric wall hung fire on. I want to get it opened so it’s raised (like in the picture) as not having to touch the skirting board. I have attached a picture of my electric fire currently on the wall and an image from google of what I want done. What kind of tradesman should I ask would a joiner be able to do it? Thanks in advance.
