Hi.
We have a large old pitched roof double garage which has the old gable end entry bricked up following landscaping. I was wondering if it would add value if I were to open up this side for vehicle access. It would involve an rsj and structural engineer calculation as to removal of windows and wall currently present as there is a large roof truss presently resting in the wall. A new car entry at this side of the house has already been completed and is used to just park up in front of side of the garage. Any ideas as to whether it’s worth doing and what might the ball park cost be. I’ve a sceptical wife.
I could take out the wall myself once the roof was supported.
Thanks.

its the sort off thing you do for your own use as it can both add and remove browny point to a buyer
