The government need to deliver a lot this year, I believe they will but we don't need these distractions. If Carrie hadn't sacked Dom, things could have been very different.

New PM suggests an election especially as many voted based on the basis of Boris. That will bug some of them even though it would be unlikely to happen I'd have thought anyway.

Borisism though what is it? Previously seen as undesirably too far to the left by the Tory core. Reckoned to be pro European. What changed? I have my suspicions.

Previous experience - columnist known to mislead. The vast majority of newspapers do from time to time. There are more of them around. London mayor - they got sick of him.

The party - the first to employ specialists to pedal their wares - and advertising company. The Brexit campaign aided by others was extremely slick. One problem is that when it succeeded some wondered about it even then after voting out.

Levelling up. Great aim but is it achievable? If it is in what way? They are determined to make work pay and people will suffer due to that but can they all find jobs. The answer to that is no even though the majority of the economically inactive want one - according to Priti Patel. She sees them as an alternative to immigrants but why aren't businesses employing them anyway. How to make them do that?

Not if they couldn't work from home. Many polymen were travelling around working with people. They tried zoom instead of the house and couldn't get on with it even when they restricted the people who could tune into it and participate. The restrictions on that caused a lot of political noises.

Clearly a lot in No10 couldn't work from home. That isn't the aspect that has caused the noises = parties and regular friday night booze ups every week have. As they are saying themselves this should not have been happening. The solution being propose is get rid of some and replace with more reliable people - older has been mentioned.

dont know iff its still the same but they didnt put people onto the unemployment statistics for six months they put them down as training or with a partner organization
'so if still the same will mean masses off unemployed turning up on the lists in a few months time with the ones getting another job in the meantime no mater how temporary or badly paid be trumpeted as great statistic
now all governments off all persuasions manipulate "things" usually fully within the law so to misdirect poeple with a positive spin but this present lot just seem to spin to the extreme far beyond normal boundaries and when that doesnt work they change or try to change the law and when that fails they do it anyway claiming it in the "spirit off" or some other waffling similar term

The unemployed are people reckoned to be actively seeking employment. Those that aren't are said to be economically inactive. If some one wants to know how many aren't at work add the two together. Also go read the gov pages on the 2 categories. Retired is different again as many have pensions other than the state one. As shrouds don't have pockets they are inclined to spend. Mortgage probably paid so even more to spend.

On other headline items
GDP. Best to start with pages on economics as it may be calculated in different ways. Then look at the govs. It will be clearer which one they use. Inflation helps. They also calculate it a different way. Never managed to find it but it has been mentioned. That one is not headline

Average income calc are also worth a read.

Also cost of living to see what goods it's based on. A famous Lady changed those - you can guess why.

What can one party do with this sort of thing once it's been done - nothing or make things look worse.

Remember to use the headline aspect when searching and UK. Not all countries use the same.

Also worth looking at death duty changes and note the lack of updates. Not so easy to avoid as people may think.

Debt - well I have already mentioned complications about looking at that. It's a complication concerning a number of other countries and an aspect of privatising what are essentially utilities.
