Hi

a bit of a longshot but I lost the engineers manual for my optima compact(the older 6 zone version not newer G3) house alarm and I need to change a few settings on it.

Does anyone have the engineers manual in pdf format or similar?

Thanks

What do you need to change, do you know if the engineers code has been changed?? (you'll need it)

There used to be a site that had lots of manuals for download, but cant remember the url.

Panels are cheap enough to replace, esp ADE panels.

Hi

I tried the manufacturers site but it does not have the engineers manual on there.

Offroader i do have the 4 digit engineers code. I need to change the entry/exit delay time & I need to see how to change a zone from a entry/exit zone to an instant alarm zone if that make sense!

Thats a pain, it would be quite handy to diyers and engineers alike.

I have a nice disk with all the scanny manuals on, even obsolete ones, plus if you register you can access them online, most other panels I have to root through my van for them, or talk nicely to customers with old panels, hehe.

they got banned because some people use them to get around alarms etc which is why there not easily available to joe public

i have no idea why, all they posted was that they were asked not to publish them

they also had to remove a complete "section" for a national alarm company "members only area"

providing you have reason to need the manuals (i.e alarm companies) then you should be able to get them
