Nothing wrong with a U-turn, better to re-think and change your policies than be pointlessly stubborn.
It's when you keep making U-turns every week because you keep coming up with more inane and stupid policies.
There's everything wrong with doing a U turn. Had this stupid rule not been thought up in the first place, then the U turn wouldn't have happened.
How much has this cost in parliamentary time? Expenses? Assistants time etc ?
