Hello
I am keen to use either OSMO Polyx Oil (satinfinish/ colourless) or Ronseal's Eco Varnish (satin clear finish) for my bedroom and living room joinery which is made of birch-faced plywood.

I'm looking for a satin or gloss finish which won't cause any yellowing and is quite hard wearing. Price is of course an issue too.

Has anyone used these products? What is the difference between the two in terms of the finish, the ease of application and its durability? Also I'd like to kow if it causes any yellowing.

Are there any other similar products within this price range i.e GBP 35 - 50 for 2.5 L which I should consider?

Thanks very much.
