OsramL36W/23 stip light

I am having problems reinstalling an OsramL36W/23 stip light into a ceiling fitment. I wanted to remove one to reduce the amount of light and in the process removed both lamps. As it was on the ceiling I couldn't see what I does.

Any help gratefully received.

Its a standard T8 tube. Most of them, you put into the grooves at both ends and turn the tube 90º.
