Do your wives. girlfriends, boyfriends, children etc etc etc have any inkling of what we do or talk about on here? When you occasionally chuckle or get uppity from what you;ve read, do they interfere in a private joke or discussion?

As Harbour Woodwork's wiser other half I find the length of time he 'wastes' on here extremely annoying as no-one else can use the laptop. I wouldn't care but it is mine and bought for my work!! Also, he claims to hate computers - he spends more time on one than anyone else.
Having said that, it does give him a platform to vent his spleen, air his opinions and pass on germs of wisdom. Our children just think their Dad is very sad. Still I suppose you get the brunt of it all and I just have to listen to small snippets which is a great relief for me!
Our younger son think's dad is just wasting his time and should be doing more constructive stuff.
DIYnot has given him a lot of entertainment, food for thought, and fun, so I suppose that all in all it is a good thing.
