Hi all!

We moved into our new house last year. There is a brick outbuilding, around 1.5m from the house and like a lot of others on the street, they have been connected with a roof and boxed it in. The previous owner used a timber frame and internal door which over time has obviously rotted. Today I ripped it all out so I can replace it with a UPVC door and UPVC cladding. I will frame it all with timber. The problem is, the floor at the house end is level with the floor outside. The other end is around 2 inches lower due to the slope of the garden. I should really raise the floor using concrete, to stop the timber rotting and to stop water ingress. Is there any other way I could do this without the hassle of raising the floor level? Probably not, I just thought I'd ask the question on here? Any Ideas would be great! Pictures below.

Do you mean the floor of the link is sloping away from the house and you are worried about water getting in under the new door frame.
If so just order a frame with an inbuilt step and set it onto a fillet of cement to make it level and square. Or am I misunderstanding?
