Outdoor floodlight, switched

Hi, I currently have a switch controlled outdoor light with pir which is a bit poo, I want to replace it with something that is switched only as it’s the side of the house and secure so no PIR needed, needs to be nice and bright but low power please, can you recommend something I could buy please?

Has to light a ginnel about 10m long (only 1m wide between houses)

We used to have some PAR twin lights in the UK a few decades back. They always looked ugly.

Not the sort of look we are going for in the UK atm.

Beauty (or ugliness) is in the eye of the beholder!


Why would you consider that the PAR 38 Flood Light on the Right looks any "uglier" than the PIR Sensor on the Left (which controls it)
or
the surveillance camera in the Centre (for which it provides illumination)?

Are any of these significantly more beautiful or attractive?

Again, that is your opinion -
and I did not suggest Dual PAR 38s - pointing down a "ginnel" - which is a new word that I have learned.

I sent wife into town, and she went into wholesale outlets and got 4 carriage lamps, one on a pole, expensive at around £16, 2 required bulbs at £2 each, and one integral at £4.

Each needs switching in some way which bumps up the price, one on pole used a colour changing smart bulb, set it to green on Halloween, so kids know we will give sweets, the integral uses a smart socket adaptor, and the other two again smart bulbs but not colour changing.

A bulkhead lamp now also uses a smart socket adaptor, and the original carriage lamp with PIR is from a Tapo smart switch, since Tapo uses a battery no problem switching a PIR lamp.

Main thing for me, is when driving home at night, take out the phone, and one button turns on all outside lights, and once indoors, one voice command turns them all off.
