Outdoor porcelain

I am looking to put down some outdoor porcelain tiles across a relatively small area - about 5m2.

I will be putting down a concrete base and then applying the adhesive on top. I know that the adhesive has to be suitable for outdoor use, but I have a couple of specific questions:

- does the colour of the adhesive matter? I'd assume not but why do some adhesives specify the colour?

- will the thickness of the adhesive be specific to the adhesive used or is there a 'standard' used? I have seen anything from 3-10mm in my research

- the concrete will be newly laid. I'd assume I don't need a primer?

Make sure the concrete is sufficiently cured before laying any tiles.

For porcelain you want to use a flexible cement based powdered adhesive.

10mm notched trowel and back butter the tiles.

Colour of adhesive is irrelevant. Personally I'd prime the concrete first using either diluted SBR or acrylic primer.

You say you are going to make a concrete base, what substrate will the new base be laid over ? and what depth will you be making it ? also are these porc tiles glazed ( sealed ) or not ? also will you be sticking to the basic 2mm grout line ?
