Hi can someone recommend me a suitable outdoor socket that I can use for powering some garden lights as well as having a spare outlet to plug a lawn mower into?

There are plenty of outdoor sockets available in places such as B & Q. Make sure you can close the cover with the plug in, with some you can't.
