Hello all,

The Mrs wants an outdoor tap in the backgarden, thought fair enough.

I plan to T-off the water feed to the dishwasher, and then somehow connect this to a normal garden hose and then feed through the wall and connect to a tap.

Before I go to B&Q, is this possible. Is there a specific T piece i need to get, or are they all standard? Ideally, the T piece will T-off into a hozelock type connector.

Many Thanks

Just looked at that.

I would appear, that they get the water through a peircing type tap onto the water pipe.

I already have one of these fitted for my fridge. Is there a two way adaptor type thing??

If so, its plain sailing for me

a nightmare waiting to happen! you need to have seperate isolation to prevent freezing and an internal double check valve for outside tap which you wont get if you fit a Y branch onto washing machine feed.
