Alarm went off this morning early hours, the zone was for the shed / summer house, done a test between the panel and the shed / summerhouse and there is a break in the cable between the two, don't really want to replace with 6 core alarm cable in case it happens again (Installed this run approx 6 years ago) could I use ....outdoor Cat5e Ethernet telephone/ CCTV alarm cable wetherproof..... that is selling on ebay. Thanks.

Yes you could you'd just have to be careful stripping the cores when terminating as Cat5 cable is solid drawn rather than stranded.
