Hi,
I'm planning on building a shed for the back garden and wondering about the electric supply. Will be running cables from the front of the prop near the consumer unit then down the side of the house then a spur off for the outhouse. Then onto the shed 15m bottom of the garden.

What sort of wire am I best laying in prep for an electrician.

It will be feeding the shed, outhouse and a outside socket, 3 separate wires or not.

Thanks

This question (or similar) seems to be asked every other day. Suggest you look through old threads.

SWA is the cable to use. Size depends on the total load which you have not told us. But at the end of the day you must use what your sparks wants as (s)he will be signing it off as his/her design.

Have you notified building control of your plans yet?
