Hey all,

I am thinking of moving my bathroom fan about a metre further along my wall from the shower cubicle. It will all be outside of bathroom zones 1 & 2 (it's to accommodate some built in furniture).

My question is - is this notifiable? i.e. is "outside zones" in a bathroom a special location? The fan is a Manrose axial ip44 rated fan if that makes any difference!

No. The 'special location' is defined as being within the specified zones 0, 1 & 2) of a room with a bath and/or shower. If it's not within the zones, then it's not in a 'special location' (and therefore is not notifiable), even though it's in a bathroom.

Kind Regards, John

Thanks JW - a helpful and clear answer - I couldn't have asked for more! :D
