We are about to get some outside (wall mounted) lights wired up but wish for the cables to be as unobtrusive as possible. Any suggestion as to the best cabling to ask the Sparks to use? Recognise he will have his own preferences but would like some pointers in advance.

depends what colour your walls are. obviously if your walls are bright blue or yellow, arctic flex is called for, but otherwise, black UV-resistant flex would be a good idea. Can the cables not come through the house wall from behind each light? Obviously the least obtrusive option!
