Outside lights on a rewire? Lighting it ring??

Hi all.

I have x2 backyard outside lights to go up and deciding whether to put them on downstairs ring Ona switched double pole fuses spur (incase water gets in etc)

Or do I feed them from downstairs lights and use standard light switch or similar?

Either could be done.
You could connect to the lighting circuit and use a double pole switch to isolate.

Is it worth using a double pole
Fused isolator and taking it down to 3a or manufacture spec when off lighting circuit?

No just an plain switch will be fine, but the choice is yours. You might also consider switching them independantly on a 2 gang switch
