Hello to all experts,

We had our building repainting over the summer – which now look amazing.
But now couple of months down the line – well nearly 6 months after painting done – it appear that the painting is peeling away in specific areas as per picture attached.

As per pictures attached these areas are flat areas rather than walls.
Building is located in a seaside town – but about a mile away from the seafront.
Paint used is attached as well as picture

Questions:
- Is that normal wear and tear?
- What are the cause of this?
- Should we contact the painter to let him know about this so that this can get corrected?

Were those flat areas previously painted?

If not, probably the result of incorrect primer or non-thinned paint on very smooth unpainted masonry.

Contact the painter very soon before too late, he may then arrange a return visit.

What have you to lose?
