outside pir security fllodlight

hi
i have a halogen outside pir security light which has been there without problem for some time, today it will not switch off i have tried adjusting the sensors etc but to no avail can anyone help!!!

Probably a busted PIR.

Buy a new light.

Have you had a brief power cut. Try turning power off to the fitting for 10 seconds then reinstating the power. Most PIR floods have an override on them where by if you switch them on and off quickly it will go in to a permanent on mode. Repeating this process will put it back to normal operation mode. It only takes a dip in the power to confuse them sometimes so try that first before getting a replacement.
