Our oven stoped working . Not under warranty anymore so as we have boiler cover that covered electrics we called them out to fix it. Had to pay out £95 as they don’t cover appliances. It turned out the element had gone. The oven door handle had come loose previously that I didn’t get around to fixing and screw fell under oven. It was hanging down by one screw. I told the engineer to be careful as it was loose. But then the oven glass broke as he was handling it which he blamed on the loose handle. He said he’ll order some oven door glass. I found handle screw under oven that I left on worktop which the engineer took. But I’m wondering now if we’ll be charged for the oven glass.
