overheat thermostat and cold radiators down the left

Hi Everyone
We have a problem!

The overheat theromstat button keeps kicking out regularly if the boiler is set to maximum. I've turned it down from maximum to 2 and now it's working fine. We have a Potterton Prima F boiler.

There also seems to be problems with about 6 of the radiators in the house. I'm not sure whether this problem is linked. The right hand side of the radiators heat up, the left hand side doesn't.

Does anyone have any ideas on what is wrong, so I'm prepared for what the gas engineer is going to tell me?

Sounds like a slow circulation problem. Possibly pump or sludged up system, but the visiting gas engineer will be able to advise.
