Quite so. What do you believe was the purpose of introducing the notification requirement?

The shower cable could have been replaced with wet string; it would still not need to be notified.

At the end of the day it's the courts that implement the law. There's not a judge in the land who is going to say " Softus, I need an expert like you to tell me how I should interpret this law".

Certainly not me, because I'm not a registered barrister, but you seem to know alarmingly little about how judges make determinations on points of law. The fact is that they consult.

The judge is going to look at the words. Full stop. No more.

This statement could not be further from the truth without leaving the surface of the planet.

That's not to say that it complies with the other parts of Part P. It just dosn't need to be notified.

You're entitled to think so, as indeed I'm entitled to discuss the subject on an open forum. If you don't want to discuss it then there's a very simple solution to that.
