Hi,
I have a working PIR light but wondered if i can also have a override on it.
Not sure what info you need but this is what i know.
Wiring at light.
BLACK WIRE IN TO BLUE WIRE FOR LIGHT & PIR
YELLOW WIRE IN TO YELLOW WIRE LIGHT
RED WIRE IN TO BROWN WIRE PIR
RED WIRE PIR TO BROWN WIRE LIGHT

I remember seeing a double light switch inside the house which im sure operated the outside PIR & the light inside.
This double light switch is now a single light switch & when operated now only operates the light inside.

The wiring in this single switch is as follows.
ALL 3 EARTH WIRES IN YELLOW SLEEVE TO METAL EARTH CONNECTOR.
ALL 3 BLACK WIRES JOINED & IN BLOCK CONNECTOR.
1 RED WIRE TO COMMON
2 RED WIRES BOTH IN L1

Is it possible to fit a double switch in replace of this single switch so the PIR will work if triggered like it should & also for it to come on when operating the switch.

Please advise.
have a nice day.

You would need another wire from switch to light.

Some pir lights will stay on if you flick the switch off and on twice.
