We have a Honeywell wireless thermostat controlling a combi boiler where the wireless receiver (BDR91) has stopped working - no led lights display at all and of course no heating coming on (hot water works fine)

Is there any way to test that it is just the wireless receiver that is the problem?

If the power light (green) is not on then it would appear to be not working.

It should be controlled by the same switch and fuse as the boiler.
If it is then there isn't much to test apart from the wiring.

If you want to get the heating working then join together the wires in terminals A and C.
Switch OFF before removing the cover.

Connecting the wires gets the boiler to fire up, so just a dead receiver it seems. I've joined the two wires with a switch plate for the time being so we've can switch on and off until we get a replacement.

Thanks
